NileGuide’s Guide to Go App for the iPhone

I’m pleased to announce that NileGuide’s Guide To Go iPhone app has been released into the wild!

Here at NileGuide we’ve heard from many of you who love our custom guides, but also want a digital (and paper free, environmentally-friendly) means of bringing your trip plans with you during your travels. And, we’ve heard from others who’ve been asking for some “smart” location-based intelligence to go along with our content and functionality. Well, ask and ye shall receive—the new app solves both of these challenges:

Your trip on your phone: Our users can explore each element in their NileGuide trip lists, whether it’s a hotel, activity, restaurant, or nightlife spot, along with local insights, photos, and contact information. Day maps show all activities for that day and each point of interest is viewable in relation to the user’s current location, making navigating a snap. NileGuide’s Guide To Go also provides full guidebook information for each destination, including history, weather, where to stay, eat, and drink.
All trips, wherever you are: You can now browse top rated NileGuide trip itineraries based on your current location. These trips are created by NileGuide “local experts,” users, and well-known travel brands. With a few taps, you can find “Hidden Gems”, “Budget” and “Foodie” suggestions, and much more. You can also explore trip ideas for any destination in the world covered by NileGuide, now numbering over 100.
