Travel Research Update – Lake Placid Bobsled Run

By mshipley

One of the greatest advantages of being a travel marketer is doing field research (or should I say track research). Last week I had the opportunity to take a run on the Olympic bobsled run at the Lake Placid training facility.

My team, which included a driver, brakeman, Steve Kieselstein and myself, clocked the second fastest time of the day: the mile long track in just 43.23 seconds.

Not an Olympic record, but quite the rush.

If you haven't done it and like to go fast and turn nearly upside down, I highly recommend it.
