Work with Others - Tourism Keys for Clusters this week in Sudbury
March 28, 2008
Today we're kicking off a two day workshop in Sudbury for Tourism Clusters - organizations that represent members by region or travel theme. PEAT, the Partnership for Eco-Adventure Tourism is embarking on this exciting journey to recraft their Web content in order to be more effective in the marketplace, but better, to do things that the members just can't do for themselves.
If you represent a regional travel initiative, think about what values and services you can give your cluster members that they can't provide for themselves. This may mean going outside your current staff to find the skills necessary to bridge your organization into the new world of marketing… but if you do it well, your members will be overjoyed and hand over fistfuls of dollars to achieve sales outcomes that wouldn't be possible on their own.
Think about helping members create text, photos, audio and video and distribute it across the Web.
What over-the-top value can you add to your cluster offerings?
